Wrightia Tinctoria

W.T leaves possessed potent anti microbial properties against dermatophytic fungi, suggesting that the active principles may be useful in the topical trteatment of superficial skin infections.

Hexane, Methanol and Ethanol extracts of W.T leaves were screened against skin bacteria and dermatophytes in vitro using agar dilution and broth micro dilution methods. Methanol and ethanol extracts showed anti-bacterial activity.

MIC was 0.5MG/ML for Bacillus Subtilis and Staphylococcal Epidermidis.

0.25MG/ML for Staphylococcalaureus.

Hexane extracts showed antifungal activity against Trichophyton Rubrum and Trichophyton Tonsurans at 2MG/ML.

Methanol extract showed antibacterial acivity against Trichophyton Mentagrophytes at 2MG/ML and an IC50 (2MG/ML) for Trichophyton Rubrum and Epidermophyton

Floccosum.

Coconut Oil

• Coconut Oil has moisturizing & nourishing properties.
• It normalizes epidermal irritations & reduces scaling and eliminates itching.

Usage: Apply on effected area and leave for atleast one hour. Use  only very mild soap to wash off the oil.
